GothVik is a forged name from Gothic and Viking. The dark aesthetic of Gothicism is merged with the Viking imagery of strength to illustrate an expression of a warrior's spirit that refuses to succumb to darkness, but rather, embraces the struggle, and becoming reborn and evolved into a stronger person because of it.

Symbolism of Runes

Runes are symbols of an ancient alphabet used by early Germanic and Norse Viking cultures over 1,500 years ago. Before modern letters were common, people used these symbols to write words, express themselves, mark possessions, tell stories, and carve messages into wood, stone, and metal. Each rune is more than just a letter, it is a symbol that carries a meaning connected to nature, strength, protection, wisdom, love, or change. Runes are symbols to represent values, beliefs, and life experiences and used for artistic expression, inspiration, and motivation.
We use Runes in our imagery to symbolize inner strength, resilience, and the power to endure, grow, and transform from the challenges we face into the warriors we were destined to become.
